Who we are
The 1000 Days Trust was formally registered as a Charitable Trust in July 2013. Prior to this, a core group of multidisciplinary professionals met regularly and consulted with the Southland community over a two year period. The groups aim was to create a true early intervention initiative, to address our vulnerable children and families issue. From these discussions, the 1000 Days Model was developed and the group are “pioneering” this intervention with the support of the Southland Community.
